MEET OUR OFFICERS!
PAUL BARLOW- WORTHY CHIEF COUNSELOR
First and foremost, it is an honor to serve as the Worthy Chief Counselor for the Alpha Gamma chapter of Phi Delta Chi. PDC has been the most influential aspect of my journey through pharmacy school, and I am greatly looking forward to extending all the fantastic opportunities I experienced to the students in the classes below me. I hope to expand on our successes from last year to continue to promote a well-rounded organization focused on the 4 key aspects of PDC: Brotherhood, Leadership, Scholarship, and Service. My ultimate goal for this school year is to tailor the events we host to fit the interests of the Brotherhood, portray the significance of making connections through PDC, and promote opportunities for professional development. I am especially excited about continuing our efforts to connect the Chapel Hill and Asheville campuses to extend the horizons of PDC and promote collaboration between campuses. All above, I'm looking forward to ushering in the next class of amazing Phi Delta Chi Brothers and providing a sense of community and home for those in need.
GILLIAN ZAVAGLIA - WORTHY VICE COUNSELOR (Chapel Hill)
I am so excited and honored to serve as this year's Worthy Vice Counselor! When I joined PDC during my first year at ESOP, I would have never guessed the incredible impact that it has had on my pharmacy school experience. I have met some of my closest friends and made some of my best memories through this organization and I am honored to serve as a member of their exec team. After serving as the Worthy Inner Guard last year, I have had new and exciting opportunities to learn about what it means to be a brother in this welcoming community of brothers, many of which have become mentors for me, helping to further strengthen the relationships that we have within one another in our chapter and increasing engagement from our committee leaders and members, increasing the diversity of events we host, and strengthening the connection between our two campuses in Chapel Hill and Asheville. I hope to be a resource for all my brothers helping both them and our chapter to grow!
CASSANDRA REDENTE - WORTHY VICE COUNSELOR (Asheville)
Joining PDC was one of the best decisions I made during my first year at ESOP and I’m beyond excited to serve as our chapter’s first Asheville WVC! I’m looking forward to growing PDC’s presence in Asheville, getting more involved with committees, and planning Asheville specific events for the chapter. My goal is to help the Exec Board connect the Asheville and Chapel Hill campuses in a way that hasn’t been done before to improve the bonds within our brotherhood and expand the future of our chapter. I can’t wait to see what we can do with this opportunity!
SAMANTHA BOLLMAN - WORTHY KEEPER OF FINANCE
I’m very excited to serve as this year’s WKF! I am looking forward to being a part of the team to help to continue to make PDC great and even help it grow and develop into something bigger and better. My goal is to build upon the momentum of the past year and continue to create exceptional events for our brothers to enjoy. Additionally, I am committed to strengthening the bond of our brotherhood, not just for those who are currently attending, but also for those who have graduated and will be graduating. After all, we are brothers for life!
MARIELLE RATH - WORTHY CORRESPONDENT
I am thrilled to serve as Alpha Gamma's 2024-2025 Worthy Correspondent! Being in Phi Delta Chi has been such a rewarding experience- from Chapter to Thurston Thursdays, I've become immersed in an amazing Brotherhood and am continually inspired by my fellow Brothers' dedication to Brotherhood, Leadership, Service, and Scholarship. As WC, I am looking forward to showcasing Alpha Gamma's projects and events, as well as Brothers' achievements in the field of pharmacy and beyond, in our chapter reports and annual publications. It is my hope that these reports will strengthen chapter engagement and encourage Brothers to reflect on the impact of their hard work.
JENNIFER KARSLI - WORTHY KEEPER OF RECORDS AND SEALS
I am so excited to be transitioning from my brotherhood co-chair position into a bigger role within PDC as WKRS. Through PDC, I have had the opportunity to become close to those in my class as well as forming lifelong friendships with both the classes above and below me, which is what motivated me to take on an excitative position. I hope to facilitate seamless communication with brothers on membership all while bringing brothers together along the way. We have an amazing excutative team that will support my role immensely and is a team that is committed to everyone getting the best brotherhood experience!
HALLIE WRAY -
WORTHY PRELATE
I am very excited and honored to serve as our chapter's Worthy Prelate. Our chapter has supported St. Jude, as well as our local community, diligently throughout the years. I hope to continue holding successful, engaging fundraisers and philanthropy events for our brothers during my time as Worthy Prelate. I am thrilled for the upcoming year and new philanthropy events to further grow our brotherhood and support St. Jude and the community.
TREY LYTLE
- WORTHY INNER GUARD (Chapel Hill)
I can't wait to serve this fraternity as this year's WIG! Prior to joining PDC, I had no idea what a true brotherhood really meant. Being apart of this organization my first year has drastically improved my experience in pharmacy school, both socially and academically. In this role, I hope to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for the incoming candidate class. I want everyone to enjoy their time in candidate education as much as I did last year, and I hope that I can be a mentor for future brothers not only as an executive member, but as a fellow student and friend. I am looking forward to showing the incoming class my enthusiasm for PDC and the amazing opportunities awaiting them!
TAYLOR DAVIS - WORTHY MASTER AT ARMS (Chapel Hill)
I am honored to serve as this year's Worthy Master of Arms for the Alpha Gamma chapter! Rushing Phi Delta Chi last fall was an exhilarating experience, offering me a glimpse into the strong brotherhood within the fraternity. I remember being able to catch a small glimpse of what PDC had to offer at each of the recruitment events. As WMA, I am dedicated to ensuring a smooth and engaging recruitment process for our current Brothers and potential new members. My aim is to organize events that reflect PDC's lively, welcoming, and social atmosphere, fostering bonds among prospective members, current Brothers, and alumni alike. I am so excited to meet the incoming class and am looking forward to hosting fun recruitment events that showcase all PDC offers for potential new brothers!
ANNALISE MASSEY - WORTHY INNER GUARD/ WORTHY MASTER AT ARMS (Asheville)
I am so excited to be serving as the first Asheville WIG/WMA! I am honored to be able to serve on this year's Executive Team and be a resource for students on both campuses when it comes to PDC. I look forward to building up the PDC presence in Asheville while also working closely with my Chapel Hill counterpart and other Brothers to make sure that all the Candidate Brothers have the best experience possible. Being in PDC is exciting to me for so many reasons, from the Brotherhood we all share to the experiences and opportunities afforded to us through our fraternity on a local, regional, and national level. Being able to learn more about our fraternity and how we can utilize these resources was extremely interesting to me, and I can't wait to share all the same information with the next class of Candidate Brothers!
GABRIELLE BOUKAIA - WORTHY ALUMNI LIAISON
I am so excited to strengthen the alumni relations of our organization and expand our professional community. I am excited for all the events and workshops we will be putting on this year and the team I get to work with.
